UPDATE: 5 Days in Hong Kong - How's my itinerary?

EDIT: After all this research, we have decided to come to HK for longer. It sounds amazing!

Here is our proposed itinerary. You are all the experts, so please feel free to chime in.

Monday October 5, early flight from Shanghai to Shenzhen, then ferry to Macau

Monday October 5, 2009 Macau - Westin

Tuesday October 6, 2009 Macau - Westin
Early morning ferry to HK

Wednesday October 7, 2009 Holiday Inn Golden Mile

Thursday October 8, 2009 Holiday Inn Golden Mile

Friday October 9, 2009 Sheraton HK

Saturday October 10, 12:45 flight to Canada.

Thoughts?

We have made a last minute decision to go from Shanghai to Hong Kong. We will be leaving October 4th from SHA to Shenzhen, and then venturing our way into the Tsim Sha Tsui area, arriving around 8 PM (No idea the best way to do this - any advice?). We will probably be staying at the W on the 4th and 5th, and the IC Grand Stanford on the 6th (unless you have better advice).

We will have October 5, and October 6th with full days in Hong Kong, departing October 7th at noon.

We are not big museum/church people, however if there is something that is a must see please let us know. We love to just explore, and are definately hoping to do alot of shopping (markets, tailors, etc..) before we return home.

I know Hong Kong is a great place to do some shopping and sightseeing, so if you had 2 daysin Hong Kong, what would you do?

Thanks for your help. This is a last minute decision and I know NOTHING about Hong Kong. Will obviously do my research, but FT'ers always have the best advice.
