I stayed at this hotel using a GLON certificate last December. I was upgraded to the Executive floor as well but only after telling the front desk person that I was willing to wait for a clean room. The hotel was sold out because it was Christmas day. I waited for my room at the Executive Lounge and it took less than an hour. I asked most of my questions at the Executive Lounge and they were very helpful.

My room was opposite the Executive Lounge but on the 36th floor so I got to see the view in both directions. I didn't get the tech toilet either but I got it at the Tokyo Bay Hilton the previous night. The Tokyo Bay Hilton had the same amenities plus a couple of things more and the white slippers but without the Hilton logo. I got a fruit plate the first night at both hotels.

There was champagne every night and some good snacks in the Executive Lounge. The only problem was that apparently they like mushrooms a lot since they have them almost every night presented in different ways (Unfortunately, I don't like them ). They also had tongue one night. Breakfasts were good but crowded. There was a long line twice and the staff offered a coupon for one of the restaurants. I accepted the offer one of those days. They had pre-set breakfasts that you could choose from. I got the pancakes. The staff was very attentive in both places.

I disagree about taking the limo bus. You have to be careful and know when to take it , if you take it during a week day. I stayed in 3 different hotels and took it every time I changed from a hotel, from NRT to the next hotel for convenience. I had to because I was carrying 2 suitcases. (I knew that I was going to do some serious shopping because it was my first Japan trip). The worst trip was from NRT to the Tokyo Hilton. It took hours. If I have had the small carry on suitcase that I usually take with me, I could have taken the train).
