How much longer of a duration are we talking about here?
Look at the pros and cons of each type of transportation.
Flying during the Holidays may take just as long as taking the train. Long check in lines, delays due to weather, millions of peeople traveling in a pack airplane, waiting in line for long security checkpoint, etc.
