Since only the total EQM is posted on the web site, many FTers keep a separate spreadsheet tracking individual flight EQMs.
+1 on the experience of the EQM bonus not posting immediately with the RDM. It has posted for both UA and LH metal (LH TATLs only of course) within a few hours of the RDMs.
+1 on the spreadsheet. It is the only way for an keep sane. I've also found that it is never too early to start. While in 2007 I had mysterious EQMs that I never tracked down, having the spreadsheet started by September was indispensable for tracking the rest of the EQMs and ensuring I'd make 1K again (in a year with no DEQM no less).
