Certainly as an RA, and I think as an Amb too, this charge is automatically waived. It still appears on the booking page, but when you actually confirm a booking it disappears on the confirmation screen.
One way to find out would be to book a flexible room, see if the extra person charge appears or not, then cancel it again.
Does anybody know how this rule is enforced re: existing bedding?
For example, if I book a room with a friend (and don't want to share a bed), can I ask for a rollaway FOC?
I normally stay at the IC Sin either by myself or with a friend. I've just made a booking for December (twin beds) and have been upgraded online to the King Premier -- which obviously doesn't have the desired bedding!
