One night stay as Diamond. Lounge check in, asked if I wanted 'West or East Wing' so from comments here said East.

Got room 735 in East Tower, nice airy modern room with King bed as requested and room had sofa, chair and table. Seperate bath and shower.

Balcony *but* door locked and view over building site next door.

No in room amenties but lounge access (with 2 guests not being a problem). Beer only till 6pm then wine (decent Chablis), champagne was cheap (one bottle was corked), and no spirits (left lounge at 8:30pm so perhaps available later). Nice breakfast spread in the morning and lounge pretty empty most of the time.

Downstairs bar got pretty busy for most of the evening and for the size of the hotel the amount of seating is pretty limited.

Not bad for £99+VAT midweek (online 3 day advance purchase rate booked the night before!).

Note: Room numbers would be useful in posts.
