Mrs. MileKing signed up for the card in mid-January based on receiving a mailing that specifically states 10K bonus points after first purchase. Like you, she only received 7.5K. She is planning to call AMEX, but hasn't done so yet.
Glad we kept all the literature that came with the mailing so we'll have proof for AMEX when they deny knowing anything about 10K bonus points, as is likely to happen.
