I decided to take a chance on the upgrade and lost.

Early in the week, the lowest room rate was $249, then it went to $199. On Friday , it was $169, so I thought I would be good for the upgrade on Sunday. Sometime between Friday and Sunday, the hotel became sold out. Nice weekend. Guess people decided to take advantage of it.

I was just disappointed that there was no other form of recognition for my status. (Not even a coupon!)
