I think there is only one bassinet position on the main deck, so that may not make a difference. If there is only one bassinet on each deck, then the upper deck wins hands down when travelling with babies IMHO.
On the main deck you have two next to eachother. And, as I mentioned, often a 3rd empty seat available which makes a major difference.
