It's only becuase of the UA hook-up that they're changing course here. If anything, you should probably thank UA for setting them straight on this one.
Sorry channa, I have been only flying CO for two years and while I was aware of the policy when I started flying CO, I am thrilled that it's been re-instated. I don't care who made who change it, I am just happy that us high rev, low fare code flyers in the east are going to be able to reap the benefits better of purchasing a ticket on Continental rather than purchasing it solely on co.com. Paying 30 cents a mile for a barbie jet ride along the east coast that was in L class really chapped my a$$ only getting half credit when booking through another mandatory channel other than co.com
