You might enjoy the following places then:

Eagle's Deli in Cleveland Circle (Brookline) - Take the Green Line (C) to the end or D Line to Reservoir. Great greasy burgers. Home of the 2lb cheeseburger.

Paramount (Beacon Hill) - Nice little diner that has been around forever.

Chacarero (Financial District) - Chilean sandwiches. Only open during the day. They have a cart too.
