Like you theorized in your opening paragraph, I (and presumably the rest of the peanut gallery) was reluctant to be the first person to cast this stone, but now that the seal has been broken, I couldn't have said it better myself.

OP, buy guide book, fly to China, enjoy. This is the easy way.
