Thanks for the update, JDiver. I'm on my way to Guam at the end of March (along with half of Japan as it's Spring Break), and your comments will come in handy.
In past years I've stayed at the Westin, Outrigger, Onward Resort and PIC (both with large waterparks), and this time will try the Hilton.

I have to agree that the PIC "clubmates" can be pretty commandeering at times, but I think this is what works with the Japanese/Asian guests. I've learned to either ignore it or let them know my intentions, and then they're cool. I've liked PIC because they have a "kid's club" that takes care of the kids, leaving the parents to have some time to themselves. (We went to PIC for years in a row because my kid just wanted to take part in this club).
And I have to second kawoh's recommendation. "Wednesday nights are always fun in the capital - Hagatna - where they have a night festival/night markets - food, shopping, traditional dancing." Just don't drive there, as it's really hard to find parking (We were lucky
