yes and no.

Yes - because the hotel is situated on an Island that has some interesting history and geological features.
Yes - if you live in an Asian country and would like to pick up some US goods to bring back with you (Pop Tarts, Cheerios etc).
Yes - if you like to do some snorkeling
Yes - if you are laid back

N0 - if you looking for some traditional Island life (I would recommend Yap for this but no Hilton there)
No - If you like everything to be spotlessly clean and service to be timely.
No - If you enjoy long walks as Guam has very few sidewalks (strip is under construction). You need a car or you can use the buses.
No - if you like newness.

I would say it is in the middle. If you have never been to this side of the world, then you could do worse. Give it a try.
