I was at MDW yesterday going to RDU. At T - 20 minutes the plane went mechanical. The throughs, pilots and FA's got off the plane and we followed them down 2 gates and arrived just as a plane was pulling into that gate. Everyone deboarded, our flight staff got on, throughs from the previous flight were boarded and then normal boarding took place. We pushed back 25 minutes late.

It is nice to have the flexibility that MDW provides with so many planes.
