Difficult topic...

The Key is "value for money".

I always gladly pay a little more for better service, but I won't pay €100 for a sandwich and a smile. :-)

I dislike the extra charges put on everything (especially LCCs and domestic US Airlines).

An assigned seat, a drink and a sandwich as well as checked luggage should be and remain standard.
