I already pay low prices for efficient, friendly service on Southwest. I see no reason why I should pay more to other airlines for less. Because of goodwill built up, if Southwest should need to raise prices, I'm willing to accept that they're doing all they can to keep prices down but have run into circumstances that require higher prices.

I am unwilling to extend that benefit of the doubt to the other airlines and the legacy ones, in particular, deserve to go bankrupt IMO. None of that restructuring crap. Permanently shut down. Ashes. Total liquidation. Then, some other person can vulture off the carcasses and hopefully start up a better airline to fill the void. And/or Southwest can expand like crazy and pick up assets on the cheap and continue to keep prices low.
