your friends that are staying there, are they on an equally cheap rate? Did theirs disappear too? If not it would make me thing more a system problem than "shady" trying to purge the cheap rates cause they are full. One of them is on an equally cheap rate (actually a few $ cheaper because of a corp rate) and there's is missing as well! This is what got me wondering. I booked online, they booked over the phone with the hotel directly. They also booked 19 days after I booked.
