So I've seen a bunch of posts relating to California pizza, being from back east I must say that in general CA pizza sucks. There are some good places but you have to be very careful on where you eat. Unlike the east coast where you can go into almost any pizza shop and get at least a halfway decent pizza. In Cali you have to be more careful as 90% of all pizza shops suck.

Skipolini's - Clayton, CA
Amici's - Several locations in N Cali.

For pizza back east I would recommend

Pizza Mia - Bedford, NH
Santarpio's - Boston, MA
Christopher's - Hollis, NH... Sadly closed now...
