You do understand the tax refund system. The French. at least those at CDG, do not.
I can't believe they are making such a silly,major error. Anyone can cheat with no problem at all.
But this set-up allows you to put your purchases in your bags to check once they have been examined. Maybe they want to avoid people complaining that they can't get their refund because the items are in their checked bags.
