Well, maybe you could make up your mind whether you book BA because it's your preferred airline because you like the "above and beyond" service.
Or whether you book BA only because you have a bigger baggage allowance which is the only thing keeping you with BA, and without which you would book with someone else - like you have with 70% of your bookings.
You've now managed to say both things in this thread.
Those who fall into the latter category are reasonably easy to get back, if the balance of numbers (revenue lost vs costs saved) doesn't work out. Bring back a bigger baggage allowance, and they'll be back like a shot if that's the only thing they're interested in.
