This is the first denial I can remember in at least a decade or two. My FICO score was 800+ last week. I have virtually no debt except for a mortgage of about $80,000 on a $450,000 home. Never miss a payment and pay off all credit card balances each month.
Still YMMV... this is Citibank we are talking about here...

How many cards can I do at a time?
While this is truly YMMV, it is generally understood that you can have two applications within any 60 day window, including both personal AND business cards. Some have reported they are now limited to only one application every 60 days, and others still, report the ability to get 2 personal cards every 60 days AND one business card every 90 days.
I still have no problem with at least 2 personal cards at a time, I suspect it is due in part that I have been with Citibank since 1990 and have racked up 100's of thousands in charges and regularly charge 15k-50k a month on my business card with merchants that don't take AMEX (SPG).
