I rented a car for a week in Curacao doing a walk up rental. I have my rental agreement paperwork, but the agreement # is only 5 digits. I tried to give the counter agent in Curacao my Gold # but they didn't want it. Pretty much refused to take it. I tried calling the gold line and they said they can't do anything without a 9 digit rental agreement #. They tried looking at my credit card in their system but don't see any rentals under it even though the charge is on my statement. Gold line pretty much told me there is nothing they can do. I would like to get credit for this rental. Any suggestions? I offered to fax them a copy of my paperwork but the Gold rep said they can't do anything without a 9 digit rental agreement #.
