Hmm. I feel like I've wrote about my pillow seat strategy many times -- even scored a y1000 voucher out of thebeijinger (formerly "That's BJ") for a letter on the topic, but my search didn't uncover many fruits either.

Basically, on CA and MU narrow body planes, the bulkhead aisle seat on the left is typically reserved for a back-up flight attendant, while the other bulkhead aisle serves as the, for lack of a better word, pillow dispenser. I've had great success nabbing this fabulous seat on board (i.e. only questioned once on 50+ flights and still got it).
