Yeah I feel your pain. Most HH properities consider exec lounge access to be an "upgrade", thus they have considered they have forfilled their obligation (and I agree they minimumly have). This has been quoted to me too many times. Also I seem to be getting less assignments on the exec level (I am a Diamond) as in the past when I dont purchase the pricier exec level rooms.

Occasionally I have asked to speak to the hotels HH manager and have been pleasently surprised about 50-60% of the time. FWIW in my experience Wi-Fi extends only about 2-3 rooms max. Good luck.
