J class fares lowered significantly on a few routes

I note with interest that on LHR to LAX and ORD BA has introduced for a few months a discount fare booking into J class which appears to have the same flexibility as the regular J fare. This seems to be for J class only at the moment and not for other Club World fare buckets.

For passengers buying these fares the savings are not small. LAX is now GBP 7,156 against GBP 7,900 odd last week and ORD is now GBP 5,735.10 against GBP 6,300 odd last week.

These fares only seem to last for a few months. Booking far in advance gives the previous price.

I believe (and have posted before regarding this) that F, J and C fares to many destinations are overpriced with increases in the past few years running way ahead of inflation and think that this development could be highly significant.
