Beth, I have a related question. My HHonors Amex includes Car Rental Loss and Damage Insurance. It is issued by Amex in the United States but I live in Israel and no longer have an American address.

I have been told that the rental insurance does not cover anyone without a US address. Is this correct or can I rent a car and depend on it?
