I like the Metropark Causeway Bay. I have stayed there several times in the past few years in their Parlour suite. IMO good value for $$ and very convenient public transportation access. Bus stop directly outside the hotel including the A11 to the airport and the tram and MTR tube stops are only about 7~12 minutes' walk (very leisurely) from the hotel.
The breakfast is usually included in the Parlour package and the selections at the cafe on the 2nd floor are better than at the lounge, minus the harbour view. However, there are lots of other local breakfast choices nearby.
I also prefer this hotel because it is located in a predominantly residential neighbourhood. It's a lot "more quiet" in the evening and less crowded. It's located directly across a school.
I understand from other posters that the regular rooms are quite small (but this is relative), no view and have shower only if a tub is important to you. You get what you have paid I suppose. If your budget permits, go for the Parlour suite or at least the harbourview rooms. Overall, I have been very satisfied with this hotel.
I shall be going to HK again in 2 months and have again booked their Parlour suite.
