Even though this is the shortest trip anyone would ever take using a PMU for me it make sense since I'm done with paid trips.

Booked into "K" class and no seats available for PMU upgrade on a MD-88.

The flight is 9 days from now and three seats are shown taken on the seat map. PM agent agreed FC wide open. Since it is F9 that means to me there are at least 9 FC seats for sale.

I can't believe the certificate is not available. To me this is a scam. People will defend DL, I'm sure, but this is a benefit for giving DL over 75K of BIS miles. If FC was pretty full I'd say go for the revenue but this is ridiculous.
Your profile was NW plat and nothing about Delta. Whose seat was you butt in for those 75K miles, NW or DL? I'm a DL plat with 150K BIS miles this year and I haven't missed a domestic UG since the spring when I made a last minute change. Maybe the UG system is different for NW folks on DL.
