I've read this thread, done some searches and read the SN FAQ on their website.

A friend is flying SN in early October. Currently she has a CO account where she's collected most of her miles. If she was flying in November she could just credit to CO as everyone will be in the same family, right? For now M&M will be her only option, correct?
