I think a transcon is the only time WIFI would be worth it, and even then only around $10. I still do not understand WHY airlines like DL and FL installed the WIFI on their MD88 and 717 a/c. It just isn't worth it from a value standpoint as these aircraft don't fly far enough legs to justify paying the fee, IMHO.
