Hello everyone and thank you all for your feedback.I guess I got this straight in my head right now with thank you points plus flight points mystery.I read somewhere here and there too on Ft for this


Okay here is my understanding .Please correct me if I am wrong.

I believe that what it has been happening in my friends case is that since she has been using this card as main card so all the while purchase points are getting added into her thank you account.Now whenever a flight ticket has been bought from this card .The reason why her flight points gets automatically transferred to her account immediately is that those flight points have already been matched by previous total purchases .I hope this time I got it right.

Hence I feel PPE card should be out of my list now .Just one more question regarding this when somebody who has suppose 13000 points wants to just get rid of these points so can someone use like 10000 for 100$ gift card and those 3000 for any flight ticket purchase( I know its just 30$ off) but is there any minimum amount of thank you points you need before you can use toward flight ticket purchase or hotel purchase?

Now a doubt regarding discover more.

How does cashback bonus is calculated for 5% cashback bonus purchases?

Is it like if you expenditure on card so far is below 1500$ then you will get 0.25*5 cash back
if its between 1500and 3000,it will be calculated as 0.75*5 and
if it is above 3000,it will be 1*5 cashback.

I am asking this question because if you shop through shopdiscover(their online store).You get straight % off like nike store gives10% off so you dget 10$ off 100.Shopping at their online stores doesn't fall under minimum spend criteria as explained above.
