Anyway, cut the story short, got a wedding to attend in Phuket in March 2010, need to fly to HKG to see friends and family and I guess HKG would be better option to redeem as there are 2 flights per day as suppose to 1 to BKK and normally cheaper to fly to HKG.

My plans are fly to HKG and make alternative arrangement to get to Phuket, maybe local package i.e flights and hotel purchase in HK.

Right now, there are 170k BA Miles in our Household Account which consist of the Mrs L_T, Little L_T who is 6 and myself, Mrs L_T will be giving birth to a new member of our family in Jan 2010. We have 1 Amex Companion voucher expiring May 2010, we are all looking to fly J on BA, what would be the best option to book/redeem/purchase ticket but keeping the cost to the minimum.
