The thank you points awarded from the regular PP card are at most up to 2% even if you get to match all your purchase points with flight points. So I would not waste time/effort on the PP card. You might want take a look at citi Forward card that offers 5 pt per $ spend on certain student friendly categories. Other than that, if I were you I'd put everything else on the Charles Schwab 2% cash rewards card.
