Would CO be better served with onboard WIFI than TV

While I am sure my circle is not a wide representation of the flying public, it seems like everyone I know seems to rave about having onboard internet, and seems willing to pay for it. In reverse, it seems like most people I know balk at paying for onboard tv, and in general seem not to care too much about onboard tv.

I may be wrong, but it must cost a LOT less to install onboard wifi than onboard tv, and people "seem" to be a lot more willing to spend for wifi.

I am not knocking the tv quality etc, a few of our group had the 739 with tv from EWR-LAS yesterday, and said it was good and the movie selection was good.

Do others on here agree about wifi ?, or is my small group in the minority
