7-Day MTA pass doesn't work
Does anyone have experiences of what to do when your MTA pass stops working? I purchased a 7-day pass and used it for less than 1 day before it stopped working. As I found out from the MTA site, the only way to get a 'credit' is to mail in your non-working card for someone to determine what is wrong with it.
Since I'm only visiting for a few days as a tourist, mailing it in doesn't really help my cause, and neither does getting a credit when they determine the cause of the failure.
I found the ticketing agents unhelpful and short of just going through the emergency doors like many other New Yorkers, I'm not sure what to do.
