I do however strongly advice against the purchase, the image quality is abysmal in the new C seats.

I never had it not working on international flights but the image is so crappy that you don't want to deal with it. I have a Touch and a classic, tested movies with different resolution and frame rates (640x480, 480x320, 320x240, NTSC, PAL, and 24fps) nothing brings remedy for the new seats.

I leave the cable at home these days. The quality on the Touch display is infinitely better.

The connection is analog and very poorly matched.
Darn... I'm hoping this is a "YMMV" situation. I bought the cable on my recent trip to BA, but didn't have an opportunity to check it out (I got it just as I was going to sleep, and the flight back was on CO).

Anyway, I have a small video iPod. The display for watching movies is not nearly as nice as a touch, so I'm hoping I'll have at least a bigger/(maybe better) view on the larger screen. But like I said, I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
