Is it possible to use miles to upgrade a flight to Australia?

doesn't list Australia, although a check on flights shows AA codeshare (Quantas) flights. Anyone know if it is possible?

Also, anyone know what is the min class to get away with no upgrade payment? On Continental it is H class (which you can specify when searching on their site - no such luck at aa.com).
