Thanks for your remarks.
Both LH and LX are not airlines that offer exit row seats for $$$.
I have been flying with them now for about a year and a half, about twice a week, always eco and mostly ZRH to somewhere in Germany and back, say 1-1,5 hrs flights. So I will make my first status this Monday evening

. (It´s a pain to reach 35K when getting 125 or 750 per flight...)
Anyway, I seem to be able to reserve the seat, but in the end I get another, unless I go to the counter and ask for one. When I am early enough I get it. That´s why I doubt status has something to do with it. Maybe some *A policy??
The problem is that they removed the check-in counter in ZRH, so only machines from now on

On the other hand, it can´t be only people who ask at the counter that get them, otherwise people that don´t want them would not get them, right?

I´ll see from next week if I get those seats more often as a FTL.

By the way, what is *S and *G?
Oh, and I mostly try to get isle seats (also a strategy to be able to stretch the legs every now and then, when not a FA bumps into my knees with a cart)
