Personally, I think the main benefit is the airline lounge access. If they nix'ed that (or took away AA club access), I'd cancel the card in a second.

Before I signed up for the card, I thought about my travel patterns and how the card could pay for itself in the course of a year.

The FHR program is nice, but it really does depend where you travel. The FHR program has a lot of Las Vegas hotels.. but I really don't see the benefit to spending $1,000+ on a room in Vegas. If you're in your hotel room a lot while in Vegas.. something is wrong.

SPG Gold.. I haven't used this benefit yet, so I cannot comment. The Amex Limo program... not worth your time.

Speaking of the limo program.. I called last week for a quote.. a LHR transfer was almost 200 bucks. HA.
