Secured FF seats on Delta for next May/June, open jaw Charlotte to Anchorage and return from Vancouver for only 25,000 miles. Great deal, no? Anyway, wife and I had 0 miles in our Delta accounts. Went to transfer SGP miles to Delta, but they allow only 30,000 miles per day. So we transferred 20,000 miles from my SPG acct. to wife's by phone and they were then to transfer 25000 miles to each of our Delta accounts. That was on 8/28. By the following Monday I noticed no transfer out of our SPG accounts, so on Tuesday we called and oh my, we didn't do the transfer. They did it that day. They sent us an email verifying the transfer and offering to send a letter/fax to Delta. Now we've been calling Delta each evening to ask for extensions of the hold. Sometimes they've given us 2 days. Still no miles. It's now been 4 days since miles left Starwood. Last night they gave us 2 more days at Delta and said that's all.

Now I know it says could take 2 weeks, but my previous experience has always been that it takes less than a week. So, finally my question...Does anyone know any way to get Starwood to expedite the transfer, or to get Delta to extend the hold?
