Sorry if this is repetitive. I did a search but couldn't find the reference.

I thought I had read here that Delta was going to drop the $25 booking fee for Medallions booking by telephone. It might have only been for PMs and/or it might only be effective next year with the 2010 programme.

Does anyone recall this, or know if there is still a phone booking fee?

I'm GM and phoned earlier this week to book flights along with a confirmed Z upgrade. The agent was great and it was a smooth transaction. She gave me the price and didn't mention a booking fee, and frankly, I forgot to ask if there was one.

Today I see that I was charged $20 x 2 for the two tickets, on top of the fare she quoted. Is this correct?

I'm not complaining if it is, because I had to phone anyway for the upgrades, and by phoning, I was able to have her book it in USD instead of DKK which would have happened if I booked the tickets online (resulting in most likely an unfavorable exchange rate when it hit my USD AmEx). But if I'm not supposed to be charged, I would email and see if I could get it removed.
