Regarding CC, er, well, when your screen name and real life name are one and the same, trading in CC may not be the smartest idea in the world.
Fly as will best serve you, however I doubt any airline can see if you sent a PM to someone and negotiated from there. Travel safe Mike.)

* 25,000 AAdvantage® Bonus Miles
* Gift Of AAdvantage Gold® Status For A Friend

Well AA doesn't have the additional SWU (evips) offered every 50EQM after reaching 1k. Thus this puts them over the top of UA for you will get 10 evips for going 125k as opposed to UA where you would only have 6 at that point and would need to get to 200k just to stay even with AA offer.

Very good promo for them IMO as UA offers the 5k EQM rollover at 125k and 25k RDM miles at 175k.

No one thinks UA elite choice is great (except whoever wins the Global Services Sweepstakes) and this promo by AA widens that gap. ^ to AA really on this one.

Yes I would say it is basically a free trip to SIN. With the 2 SWU's and RDM miles he will earn Kudo's to OP. He may even have double redeemable miles for Sept travel from last years elite choice, thus earning triple redeemable miles if so.
