In any case, by the looks of it the new LRT is hardly "fast" and will certainly bugger up traffic on Eglinton.
As a commuter from Yonge & Eglinton to T1 on an allmost daily basis, I can pretty reliably say that 70min from Yonge & Eglinton to T1 is a prety accurate number, I have to leave 90min to allow for miss conections of the 192 once I get to kipling.
I will agree that building of the LRT line will bugger traffic up a la St Clair right away. Once it's built I do think its going to be ok. With the line being underground though the busiest section of Eglinton (Laird to Black Creak) and seperate right of way for everything else.
