An example I've used in another post is BCN. There is a *A lounge, but it is not designated a *Gold access lounge. You can only access it with a Biz or First ticket, and or a Senator memebership...and as it seems Red Carpet, or Maple Leaf, or a couple other memberships in the Alliance. I have no idea if President's Club members will have this access.
The lounge in the new T1 in BCN is a contracted lounge for LH. Therefore, you
will have access to it as a *G (e.g. OnePass Platinum), when flying LH.
PC membership (or lack thereof) will have nothing to do with it.
