Having a grrrrr moment.

Somehow CO1095 tomorrow went from a 753 to a 738 (on a holiday weekend, no less). I am upgraded on my first segment, but now there is very little chance I will get a free upgrade on the IAH-LAX segment due to the 738.

I would pay for a buy-up to get F, but none was offered to me. I'm guessing because the first segment was upgraded, hence it could not price out the fare difference from IAH-LAX.

So it looks like if you're upgraded on one segment, you will never see a buy-up offer - while others who are not upgraded on any segments will see the offer.

I think this needs to be changed, especially if these offers are going to expand and thus change our EUA reality.
