Its good the see the planning and studies happening but I am still not sure why Eglington cross town is going to be LRT and not subway. Eglington Avenue is already packed and in a number of places is only 2 lanes each way (with no room to spare) let alone adding LRT.
In addition it is still going to be a LONG haul from the Eglington West Subway Station to YYZ!
A much better solution would be Subway with a few stops and LRT and Bus feeds. I know this is more expensive but Eglington cosstown is a major route and should be faster.
A big chunk of the Eglington CrossTown LRT will actually be underground. From approximitly Laird Drive in the east to Keele St/Black Creak drive in the west.
