Good you reminded us about that dimension. Just to spell out my interpretation, brand like BR or Boyt and their logos may be well known among luggage connoisseurs but represent no great attraction to thieves around the world. Tumi, Swiss, or brands like Polo etc would scream "steal me" from blocks away.
