So, this visit to Seoul, I asked for a larger room at the Grand Hilton. The nice woman at the Executive Lounge check-in area said I was already upgraded to a room on the executive floor, non-smoking, and a corner room as I had requested. She said most of the rooms on the two executive floors are the same. I said that was fine. Then, five minutes after getting to my room, Mr. Park, the night duty manager called to say that he had a slightly bigger room for me on the same floor. It has two windows, and a separate area for the desk and computer. He showed me the room and I said I would take it, if it's not too much trouble. He said no problem. So, the maid moved the iron and ironing board to the new room, along with a flower. I tried to tip her, but she declined. Room service moved my complimentary bottle of wine and sushi to the new room. BTW, yet again there was no corkscrew with the wine. But a man arrived within 5 minutes to open the wine for me.
