With my previous experience, any AA flight taken by friday will credit by next thursday midnight HKG time. If not, allow an extra thursday to credit. But if you actually threw away your pass, I guess go start an advantage account since their process is partly computerized so you may not the bp and may get lucky on the credit. I always go to the desk at HKG because I feel it's a safer process, plus the agent can correct you if you don't have enough paperwork and is easier to keep track to see if they are doing the request by looking in your account
